Itinerary for 5 days trip to Chapada Diamantina
Day 1 - Arrival in Lençóis
Reception at the bus station in Lençóis and transfer to the inn / hotel.
Walk through Muritiba Park, on the outskirts of the city. On the way, we will continue along the Lençóis River, visiting Serrano, Salon de Areias, Poço Halley, Cachoeirinha and continuing to Cachoeira da Primavera.
The promenade has several places for bathing, in addition to a privileged view of Lençóis.
Overnight in Lençóis.
Walk: 5km along the Lençóis river, walking on stones most of the time, with sections of loose stones that require more attention
Bathing: at Cachoeira da Primavera, Cachoeirinha and Poço Halley
Exposure in height in some sections of the trail

Day 2 - Visit to the Lapa Doce Caves, Pratinha Cave and Pai Inácio Hill
Meals included: Breakfast and Regional Lunch
We left Lençóis by car in the morning towards Iraquara, to visit the Pratinha Cave. The perfect place for a bath in the crystalline waters of the Pratinha River, and where we visit the Blue Grotto, enjoying the natural beauties of the place in the quietest visiting hours. The attraction also has floating diving options inside the cave and zip lining (optional).
In the afternoon, we will have a delicious lunch of typical foods, before heading to the Lapa Doce Cave by car. The Iraquara region is famous for its subsoil of limestone rocks that allowed the formation of countless caves and caverns with very rare rock formations. With the help of a local guide, we will cross the Lapa Doce Cave and discover the beautiful formations of stalactites, stalagmites, speleothems, columns and their formation processes of millions of years.
We end the day with the impressive view from the top of the Pai Inácio hill and return to Lençóis in the late afternoon, an image of the immensity and beauty of the region.

Day 3 - Fumaça Waterfall
Meals included: Breakfast and Snack on the Trail
Day to visit the largest waterfall in Brazil in free fall, the Cachoeira da Fumaça. We leave by car in the morning towards Vale do Capão, where we will start the 6 km hike to the top of the waterfall.
During the journey, you will be enchanted by the view of Vale do Capão and the mountains that border the region, to the canyon of Fumaça, with its 400m high. Stop to enjoy the view, rest and have a snack, before returning along the same trail to the car.
After the walk, visit the Riachinho waterfall for a relaxing bath, returning to Lençóis at the end of the afternoon.
Overnight in Lençóis.
Car: 150Km total, 40Km (off-road) + 110km (road). About 1:30h
Walk: 12km Total (6km each way). 2km of ascents over stone steps, the last 4km on flat terrain.
Bath: In the Riachinho waterfall

Day 4 - Poço Encantado and Poço Azul
Meals included: Breakfast and Regional Lunch
Day to visit the two most famous crystal clear blue water wells in the region. First, we drive to Poço Encantado, an immense natural pool of turquoise blue water, inside a limestone cave. Through an access to the interior of the cave, we can enjoy the effect of the sun’s rays crossing the well to the bottom, 60 meters deep.
Afterwards, we’ll head to Poço Azul, where we’ll float inside the cave and then have a well-deserved lunch of typical foods.
We return to Lençóis in the late afternoon.
Day 5 - Return to Salvador
Meals Included: Breakfast
After breakfast, check out your accommodation. Your land transport to Rodoviária de Lençóis is already included in the package.
