Day 1 - Arrival in Lençóis

Reception at the Lençóis bus station and transfer to the inn/hotel. A walk through Muritiba Park, on the outskirts of the city. Along the way, we will follow the Lençóis River, visiting Serrano, the Sand Hall, Poço Halley, Cachoeirinha, and continuing to Cachoeira da Primavera.

The tour includes several swimming spots, in addition to a privileged view of Lençóis.

Overnight in Lençóis.

Walk: 5Km along the Lençóis River, walking on rocks most of the time, with sections of loose stones that require more attention Swimming: at Cachoeira da Primavera, Cachoeirinha, and Poço Halley Exposure to heights in some sections of the hike

Bus ticket from Salvador to Lençóis bus station not included.

Day 2 - Visit to Lapa Doce Cave, Pratinha Cave, and Morro do Pai Inácio

Meals included: Breakfast and Regional Lunch

We leave Lençóis by car in the morning heading to Iraquara, to visit Pratinha Cave. The perfect spot for a swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Pratinha river, and where we visit the Blue Cave, enjoying the natural beauties of the place at the calmest visiting hour. The attraction also offers options for snorkeling inside the cave and zip-lining (optional).

In the afternoon, we will have a delicious lunch of typical foods before heading by car to Lapa Doce Cave. The Iraquara region is famous for its limestone subsoil which allowed the formation of numerous caves and caverns with very rare rock formations. With the help of a local guide, we will cross Lapa Doce Cave and see the beautiful formations of stalactites, stalagmites, speleothems, columns, and their formation processes over millions of years.

We end the day with the impressive view from the top of Pai Inácio hill and return to Lençóis in the late afternoon, a sight of immensity and beauty of the region.

Day 3 - Smoke Waterfall

Meals included: Breakfast and Trail Snack

A day to visit the tallest free-falling waterfall in Brazil, Cachoeira da Fumaça. We leave by car in the morning towards Vale do Capão, where we start a 6km hike to the top of the Waterfall.

During the journey, you’ll be amazed by the view of Vale do Capão and the mountains bordering the region, up to the Fumaça canyon, with its 400m height. A stop to enjoy the view, rest, and have a snack before we return along the same trail to the car.

After the hike, a visit to Riachinho waterfall for a relaxing bath, returning to Lençóis by the end of the afternoon.

Overnight in Lençóis.

Car: 150Km total, 40Km (off-road) + 110km (road). About 1:30h Hike: 12km Total (6Km each way). 2Km of climbing over stone steps, the last 4km on flat terrain. Bath: At Riachinho waterfall Exposure to height at the top of the waterfall.

Day 4 - Enchanted Well and Blue Well

Meals included: Breakfast and Regional Lunch

A day to visit the two most famous wells with crystal-clear blue waters in the region. First, we drive to the Enchanted Well, a vast natural pool of turquoise blue water, inside a limestone cave. Through access to the interior of the cave, we can enjoy the effect of the sun’s rays crossing the well to the bottom, at a depth of 60 meters.

Then, we proceed to the Blue Well, where we’ll have a flotation experience inside the cave and then a well-deserved lunch of typical foods.

We return to Lençóis in the late afternoon.

Day 5 - Return to Salvador

Meals included: Breakfast

After breakfast, proceed with your check-out from the accommodation. Your ground transportation to Lençóis Bus Station is already included in the package.

By plane: There are direct flights from Salvador to Lençóis every Thursday of the week. Although we do not book airline tickets, our team is available to help you find the best airline ticket options to Rio de Janeiro at the time of purchase. Contact us for more information.

By bus: Leaving from Salvador, Lençóis is 420 km away. On average, it takes about 5 hours to reach the destination.

Is there a minimum age?

There is no age restriction for this package. However, the Enchanted Cave attraction cannot be visited by children under 12 years old. However, we can adapt the tours according to your needs. Just contact us.

What physical effort is involved?

Most activities of the Trip to Chapada Diamantina involve physical effort, trails, and water activities. Considering this, as long as you do not have reduced mobility, you will enjoy 100%. Remembering that we can adapt the schedule according to your needs.

Do I need to train to do the tours?

We suggest minimum physical fitness, but you can rest assured, after all, our guides will be there to provide all the support.

Cancellations due to personal reasons of the client: According to normative deliberation number 161 of August 9, 1985 from EMBRATUR, refunds will be made according to the following distribution:

Cancellation up to 30 days from the start of the activity: 90% refund of the total value; Cancellation between 29 and 21 days from the start of the activity: 80% of the total value; Cancellation with less than 21 days from the start of the activity: no refund;

No-show situations: In the case of “no-show” situations, when the client does not notify the postponement or cancellation with minimum advance notice and/or does not attend the activity, Nattrip reserves the right not to refund any amount to the client.
