In the park, there is a small railway with a tourist train (Tren Ecológico de la Selva), which covers a total of 18 km within the forest, from the entrance of the park (Central Station) to the access walkway to visit the Devil’s Throat waterfall (Garganta del Diablo Station). 5- GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCE IN PUERTO IGUAZÚ (ARGENTINE SIDE)

While in Foz do Iguaçu, another tour we recommend is a visit, as part of your evening schedule, to the neighboring city on the Argentine side (Puerto Iguazú). A good road gets you there quickly (depending on the movement at the Argentine customs on the border with Brazil), after crossing the large bridge over the Iguaçu River. In Puerto Iguazú, you can sample typical Argentine cuisine, mainly from the Misiones region, such as red meat dishes known as Bife de Chorizo, Asados, or Parrillas. There are also dishes made with fish from the Iguaçu and Paraná rivers, such as Surubi, Pacú, and Dorado. We also recommend visiting restaurants where some excellent gastronomic experiences are offered (such as the already famous Boutique Hotel de la Fonte) with a mix of international fusion cuisine (Argentine cuisine from the Misiones region with Italian, French, Mexican, etc.). All this can be accompanied by hundreds of labels of wine from the excellent Argentine and Chilean production. It is also worth reserving a night to experience these gastronomic adventures.
