  1. Tahiti Waterfall (Fecha de Barjas): one of the main and most beautiful in Gerês. The waters are crystal clear and relatively warm.
  2. Arado Waterfall: This waterfall is located on the Arado River. Along with the Tahiti waterfall, it is one of the most famous in the Peneda-Gerês National Park. Access for cars is good, which makes it easy to get to. It is a waterfall formed by a succession of waterfalls between rocks. The waterfall forms a natural pool of green water.
  3. Cascata da Laja: Located near Caldas do Gerês, it is a mountain waterfall. The trail to the waterfall is beautiful and there are many wooden bridges near the waterfall.
  4. Pincães Waterfall: This waterfall creates one of the most beautiful natural pools in the Park.
  5. 7 Lagoons Waterfall: Considered one of the pearls of Gerês. The trail is considerably difficult and requires a long walk on foot. After 6 km of walking, the view is incredible. It is a set of 7 pools of water formed by rocks, connected to each other by small waterfalls.
  6. Cela Cavalos Waterfall: One of the least known, and therefore, one of the least crowded. The waters are cold but the presence of little fish is the reward.
  7. Portela do Homem Waterfall: Easily accessible, this waterfall is beautiful and is located next to the road to the border with Spain.
