Day 1 - Welcome to Lençóis Maranhenses!

Today, our reception service will pick you up from São Luís International Airport (SLZ) and take you to Barreirinhas, the gateway to Lençóis Maranhenses. Check in and explore as you wish!

Day 2 - Lagoa Bonita Circuit

Meals included: Breakfast

Departure from Barreirinhas in a 4×4 Toyota jardineira vehicle, which will take us to a ferry for crossing the Preguiças River, providing access to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (PNLM). The trail route is 20 KM, lasting approximately 1 hour until reaching the dunes, then we will climb a ladder, at one of the highest points of the national park. Where we will have a beautiful panoramic view of the entire region. Then the guide will start a walk through the Lençóis, visiting various lagoons for swimming and enjoying the sunset.

Day 3 - Atins

Meals included: Breakfast

Departure from Barreirinhas in a 4×4 Toyota jardineira vehicle that will take us to a ferry for crossing the Preguiças River, providing access to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (PNLM). The trail route is 30km, lasting approximately 1h40min, always accompanied by a guide.

The first stop is at the beginning of the dunes, where the entire formation of dunes in the National Park starts. Then we will proceed to Atins to visit the mouth of the Preguiças River (the meeting of the river waters with the sea). From the mouth, we will head to Canto do Atins in a 20-minute car ride, arriving at the dunes, the guide will lead a walk to visit lagoons and deserted beaches.

Around 1:30 pm, we will stop for lunch (not included) in a rustic restaurant, where we will enjoy grilled shrimp.

Day 4 - Caburé

Meals included: Breakfast

Departure from Barreirinhas down the Preguiças River on a speedboat, after 40 minutes you will arrive at the Vassouras community, areas of the small Lençóis, where we have a support point and a beautiful view of dunes and mangroves, in addition to meeting the local fauna and flora. Depending on the rainy season, we may have lagoons for swimming.

Next, we will go to the Mandacarú community to visit the Preguiças lighthouse with its 160 steps, from the top, we have a fantastic panoramic view of the region. Then we continue to Caburé beach (peninsula), where lunch is held (not included) and you can enjoy a beautiful beach.

Day 5 - See you next time!

Today, our reception service will take you back to São Luís International Airport (SLZ).

Do I Need a Visa?

As a Brazilian, just an updated ID card allows you to cross the border into Argentina and Paraguay. Please check the requirements before traveling, as this is the responsibility of the tourist.

You need to go to São Luís do Maranhão. There our reception service will pick you up and take you to Barreirinhas, the gateway to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park.

What is the Physical Effort Involved?

Some of the activities on the Trip to Lençóis Maranhenses involve physical effort. However, they are not very difficult. Considering this, as long as you do not have reduced mobility, you will enjoy it 100%. Remember, we can adapt the program according to your needs.

There is no need at all, after all, our guides will be there to provide all the support.

Who Will I Travel With?

The accommodations are exclusive to you, your family, and/or friends. Some of the tours and activities will be done in groups. Private activities are available upon request (price may change in this case).

Climate and Weather:

The itinerary and the order of excursions may change due to weather and/or adverse conditions for tourism practice. If necessary, Nattrip will postpone the activity to a compatible date without additional cost.

Cancellations for personal reasons of the client:

According to the normative deliberation number 161 of August 9, 1985, from EMBRATUR, returns will be made according to the following distribution:

Cancellation up to 30 days from the start of the activity: 90% refund of the total value;
Cancellation between 29 and 21 days from the start of the activity: 80% of the total value;
Cancellation with less than 21 days from the start of the activity: no refund;

No-show situations:

In the case of “no-show” situations, when the client does not notify postponement or cancellation in advance and/or does not participate in the activity, Nattrip reserves the right not to return any value to the client.
