Day 1: Welcome to Jeri!

Our package begins in Fortaleza (Optional). Early in the morning, you will board a van or microbus to Jijoca de Jericoacoara. There, we will switch to another mode of transportation, this time the typical “jardineira” vehicle. From there, we continue our journey across the dunes of Jericoacoara National Park until we reach the village of Jeri, where we drop you off at your accommodation.

After checking in, you will have the rest of the afternoon free to explore the village. We recommend a visit to the Pedra Furada.

Day 2: Exploring the West Coast

After breakfast, we’ll start the tour early, according to the tide chart. This beautiful itinerary begins by following the beaches to the mouth of the Rio Guriú, where we’ll make a ferry crossing.

During this route, there’s an opportunity to visit the Seahorse Estuary (optional), one of only three places in Brazil with such an attraction.

After the ferry crossing, we travel through a unique and beautiful place, the Mangrove Cemetery! With its aerial roots and importance for the preservation of the local ecosystem.

We’ll then proceed to the Guriú Dunes where you can appreciate the beauty of the place and also partake in zip-lining or tobogganing (optional activities).

After so much fun, it’s time to relax at Lago Grande with its hammocks in the water, restaurants with typical and fresh menus, paddle boats, stand up paddleboards, and other optional activities. This will be our stop for lunch and a swim.

After the activities, we return to Jericoacoara for an overnight stay.

Day 3 – Lagoon of Paradise and Return to Fortaleza

Meals included: Breakfast

After breakfast, you will need to check out and prepare your backpack for the return to Fortaleza. A truck will take you to Jijoca, but not before concluding your visit to Jeri with a flourish. We will take you to Lagoa Paraíso where you can enjoy the last moments of your trip to Jericoacoara. After lunch, we will continue to Fortaleza by van or minibus, concluding the package activities.

How to get to Jericoacoara?

Jericoacoara can be accessed from Fortaleza. The distance between the places is approximately 300 km.

When to go to Jericoacoara?

Jericoacoara can be visited all year round! The rainy season in the region is from January to June, during this period the beautiful lagoons of the region form and it doesn’t rain every day.

From July to December, the rainfall index in the region is much lower.

For sports practices such as Windsurfing and Kitesurfing, August is the windiest month in the region.

Is there a minimum age?

There is no age restriction for this package, however, we can emphasize that this itinerary contains short trails and water activities. To change the activity according to your needs, just get in touch.

What is the physical effort involved?

No activity in the package requires physical effort beyond the normal. Considering this, as long as you don’t have reduced mobility you will enjoy 100%. Remember that we can adapt the program according to your needs.

Do I need to train to do the tours?

There is no need at all, after all, our guides will be there to provide all the support.

Where will we sleep?

You will sleep in local inns.

Will my cell phone work?

Yes, hotels may offer free wi-fi service.

What are the baggage restrictions?

Please check the airline restrictions and bring the minimum possible baggage to facilitate the transfer. It is recommended to bring 10 kilos per person.

Any tips for packing?

Backpacks are recommended for comfort, but you can use any type of suitcase.

Who will I travel with?

Accommodations are exclusive to you, your family, and/or friends. Some of the tours and activities will be done in groups. Private activities are available upon request (the price may change in this case).

Postponement and Cancellation Policy

Weather and Climate: The itinerary and order of the excursions may change due to weather and/or unfavorable conditions for tourism. If necessary, Nattrip will postpone the activity to a compatible date at no additional cost.

Cancellations due to personal reasons of the client: According to normative deliberation number 161 from August 9, 1985, by EMBRATUR, refunds will be processed as follows:

Cancellation up to 30 days before the activity starts: 90% of the total value refunded.
Cancellation between 29 and 21 days before the activity starts: 80% of the total value refunded.
Cancellation less than 21 days before the activity starts: no refund.

“No-show” situations: In cases of “no-show”, when the client doesn’t notify about the postponement or cancellation with minimum prior notice and/or doesn’t participate in the activity, Nattrip reserves the right to not refund any amount to the client.
